It’s been a while since my last post here, and time has flown by so quickly that I’m not sure where to start again.
Where have I been this past year?
I’m still right here. 🙂 In terms of travel, I haven’t done much. I visited Stavanger, Norway, and explored the Tatra Mountains—both the Zakopane side in Poland and the Slovakian side. One of the highlights of my summer was attending a Coldplay concert in Budapest and went to amazing museums in London. While it feels like not much has changed, at the same time, everything has changed.
Violin Update
Over the last year and a half, one major thing I’ve been working on is my Suzuki teacher training. I will write a separate post about this experience because the Suzuki method has transformed my approach to the violin, music, and even life.
Teaching music is not my main purpose. I want to make good citizens. If children hear fine music from the day of their birth and learn to play it, they develop sensitivity, discipline and endurance. They get a beautiful heart.
Oh yes, and I moved to Canada!
It’s funny that I said not much has changed when everything has changed—we decided to move to Canada! So now I’m in Calgary, where we just had our first snow recently on October 21. But that’s probably a story for another post—to explain how and why we ended up here. 🙂
